The concept of this project is a series of comic covers demonstrating a story to the audience without giving them any more context than the cover - contradicting the common phrase of "never judge a book by its cover." Additionally, I wished to create characters that represented minority groups and challenged traditional gender roles. The character of Lola Roja was based off the classic "Bond Girl," but, instead of placing her in the part of a supporting role, she and her feminine quirks take center stage.
